The accused, identified as auto driver Abbaraboyina Raju, allegedly attacked his wife during an argument at their residence in SR Nagar in Kashibugga, Warangal district.

During the dispute, he reportedly struck Anitha on the head with a heavy stone grinding slab (rokalibanda), causing serious injuries.

Family members immediately shifted the injured woman to MGM Hospital in Warangal for medical treatment.
