The makers of actor Suriya’s upcoming film, tentatively titled Suriya 46, have confirmed the release schedule for the film’s first look. The production house, Sithara Entertainments, announced that the official first look poster will be unveiled on March 2 at 10:18 AM.
The announcement was shared on social media along with a promotional poster. In the accompanying caption, the production team described the project as a major cinematic spectacle and revealed the exact time of the first look launch.
The post quickly drew attention from fans of the actor. Within minutes of the announcement going online, the comment section saw a surge of reactions from followers anticipating updates about the film. Some fans speculated about the character Suriya might portray, while others expressed expectations of a major box office release.

The project marks the collaboration between actor Suriya and director Venky Atluri. Production on the film officially began in May last year.

Suriya’s Recent Films
Actor Suriya was last seen in Retro, which was released in theaters on May 1, 2025. The film was directed by Karthik Subbaraj and marked the first collaboration between the director and the actor. Actress Pooja Hegde also played a leading role in the film.
Before that, Suriya appeared in Kanguva (2024), directed by Siva. The film gained attention for its large-scale action sequences and storyline that shifted between a contemporary setting and events that took place around 1,500 years in the past.
