Mahabubabad Authorities Warn Uninvited Guests At Weddings
Mahabubabad Authorities Issue Warning Over Uninvited Guests At Wedding Functions
Notices Placed Outside Function Halls
Warning boards placed outside several function halls in the Mahabubabad district centre have drawn public attention after messages cautioning uninvited guests at wedding events began circulating widely.
The notices warn that individuals attending wedding functions without an invitation may face legal action. The boards have been installed outside some function halls where large wedding gatherings are usually held.
Growing Concern Over Uninvited Attendance
Weddings in recent times involve significant expenditure, with arrangements for guests, meals and venue management forming a major part of the cost. Organisers say the presence of people unrelated to the event increases expenses and disrupts arrangements.
In many cases, individuals who are not invited reportedly attend wedding functions and participate in the meals served at the venue. Such incidents have been reported more frequently at large function halls where guest numbers are high.
Event Management Using QR Verification
To prevent unauthorised entry, event management teams are increasingly adopting verification methods. In some cases, QR codes linked to the phone numbers of relatives or invited guests are being shared.
Only those who receive the QR code verification are allowed entry into the wedding venue. Organisers say this method helps them control access and ensure that only invited guests attend the event.
Legal Warning Under Section 441
The warning boards displayed outside the function halls also refer to legal provisions. According to the notice, individuals who attend a wedding function without any connection to the event may face action under Section 441.
The notice states that violators could face a punishment of up to three months of imprisonment or a fine of Rs. 5,000.
Preventive Step By Function Hall Management
Function hall organisers in Mahabubabad say the notices were installed as a precautionary measure. The move aims to discourage unauthorised individuals from entering wedding venues and consuming meals meant for invited guests.
The warning boards and QR-based entry checks have now become a talking point locally, with images of the notices being widely shared on social media.
