A tragic incident was reported in Hyderabad after three members of the same family were found dead on a railway track between the Charlapalli and Ghatkesar railway stations. The police have registered a case and initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding the deaths.
The incident came to light in the early hours of the day when a goods train loco pilot noticed three bodies lying on the railway track around 2:30 am. The loco pilot immediately alerted the authorities through a walkie-talkie, following which police personnel rushed to the spot.
Victims Identified as Mother and Two Children
The deceased were identified as Pinninti Vijayashanti (38) and her two children — son Vishal Reddy and daughter Chethana Reddy. The family was residing in the Boduppal area of Hyderabad. Police confirmed that Vijayashanti was living with her children in the city, while her husband, Surender Reddy, was staying in Nellore.
Students Pursuing Intermediate Education
According to police officials, Chethana Reddy was studying Intermediate second year, while Vishal Reddy was pursuing Intermediate first year. Their bodies were found together on the track, indicating that all three were present at the location at the same time.
Investigation Underway to Ascertain Reasons
Police officials stated that a case has been registered and an inquiry is underway to determine the reasons behind the incident. The circumstances leading to the deaths are yet to be established. Further details will emerge after the completion of the preliminary investigation and post-mortem examinations.
