Ravi Teja’s latest Telugu release Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi made its theatrical debut on January 13, drawing considerable attention from fans and moviegoers. Directed by Kishore Tirumala, the film features an ensemble cast including Ravi Teja, Dimple Hayathi, Ashika Ranganath, Satya, Sunil, and Vennela Kishore.
As the film settles into its theatrical run, discussions around its digital premiere have begun to surface.
OTT Platform Likely Finalised
According to a report by Deccan Chronicle, the digital streaming rights of Bhartha Mahasayulaku Wignyapthi have reportedly been acquired by ZEE5. The deal is said to have been finalised at a comparatively modest price when measured against Ravi Teja’s earlier release Mass Jathara.
If the reports hold true, the film is expected to make its OTT debut in mid-February, following the completion of its theatrical window. An official confirmation from the makers or the streaming platform, however, is still awaited.
Audience Response and Early Reviews
The film opened to packed early-morning shows, particularly driven by Ravi Teja’s loyal fan base. Viewers quickly took to social media platform X to share their reactions.
While several praised Ravi Teja’s lighter, comedy-driven performance and a few songs, many viewers felt the narrative struggled to maintain its humour consistently. Some reactions pointed to a flat second half and an underwhelming climax, while others appreciated the attempt to move away from the actor’s usual mass persona.
Criticism was also directed at the screenplay and central conflict, which several viewers felt did not fully capitalise on the film’s premise despite moments of entertainment.
