Early Life and Background
The birth anniversary of actress Aarti Agarwal is being remembered on March 5, recalling her contribution to Telugu cinema in the early 2000s. Aarti Agarwal was born on March 5, 1976, in Atlantic City, New Jersey, in the United States.
She was born into a Gujarati family settled in the United States. Her parents were Veema Agarwal and Kaushik Agarwal. Kaushik Agarwal was a businessman based in the US.
Aarti spent part of her early life in the United States and entered the entertainment field at a young age.
Entry Into Films and Early Career
Aarti Agarwal initially stepped into modelling at the age of 14. Her performance during a stage show in Philadelphia reportedly caught the attention of actor Suniel Shetty, who invited her to perform at the event.
Actor Amitabh Bachchan attended that programme as the chief guest. Impressed by her performance, he encouraged her to consider acting in films and reportedly persuaded her father to support her career.
Following this, Aarti moved to Mumbai and joined an acting institute. She made her debut in Bollywood with the film Paagalpan in 2001.
Breakthrough in Telugu Cinema
Aarti Agarwal entered Telugu cinema as a heroine with the film Nuvvu Naaku Nachav, produced by Ravi Kishore. Actor Venkatesh played the lead role in the film.
The film became a major success and brought her recognition among Telugu audiences. Over the next few years, she acted alongside several leading actors of Telugu cinema.

Personal Life and Later Career
In her personal life, Aarti Agarwal married Ujwal Nikam on November 22, 2007, at Arya Samaj in Ranigunj. The couple later separated due to personal reasons.
After her marriage, she spent some time in the United States before attempting a second phase in Telugu cinema. She accepted roles in films including Junction Lo Jayamalini and Aame Evaru.
Her film Ranam 2 was released on June 5, 2015.
Death in 2015
Aarti Agarwal passed away on June 6, 2015, at the age of 39 in Atlantic City, New Jersey.
She had reportedly been facing health issues, including obesity and breathing complications. She travelled to the United States for medical treatment and underwent liposuction surgery on June 4, 2015.
Following complications and infection after the procedure, she suffered a heart attack and died at her residence in Egg Harbor Township.
