Rajampet Rural Police Register Case After Woman Dies by Hanging
Rajampet Rural Police have registered a case following the death of a woman who died by hanging in Rajampet. The incident has drawn attention after allegations emerged regarding the conduct of her husband during the incident.
The deceased has been identified as Krishnaveni, the wife of Srinivasulu, a railway loco pilot. The couple was residing in Boyinapalli in Rajampet.
Family Disputes Reported Between Couple
According to information provided by relatives, the couple had been facing family disputes for some time. The disagreements reportedly continued in the days leading up to the incident.
During an argument, Krishnaveni allegedly threatened that she would hang herself. Relatives claim that instead of stopping her, Srinivasulu told her how to carry out the act.
Family members alleged that when she attempted to withdraw and avoid the situation, the saree became wrapped around her neck, resulting in her hanging and death.
Allegations Against Husband Trigger Family Anger
Relatives of Krishnaveni alleged that Srinivasulu did not attempt to prevent the act and instead recorded a video while the incident was unfolding.
The allegations led to anger among family members, who blamed the husband for the death. Some relatives reportedly attempted to attack Srinivasulu following the incident.
Family members also stated that Krishnaveni was the second wife of Srinivasulu.
