TGPSC Extends OTR Update Deadline for Recruitments
Mandatory OTR Validation for Future Applications
The Telangana State Public Service Commission (TGPSC) has reiterated that candidates must mandatorily update and validate their One Time Registration (OTR) details to remain eligible for forthcoming recruitment notifications. The commission has clarified that OTR data will serve as the sole reference point for processing applications, declaring results, and finalising selections.
The requirement applies to all candidates intending to apply for future notifications issued by the commission. TGPSC has underlined that incomplete or outdated OTR records will result in ineligibility at the application stage itself.
OTR Data to Determine Application and Selection Process
As per the commission’s instructions, the information submitted in the OTR profile will be used across all stages of recruitment. This includes scrutiny of applications, preparation of merit lists, and selection outcomes. No separate or subsequent verification outside the OTR framework will be considered.
Candidates have been advised to carefully verify personal details, educational qualifications, and category information recorded in their profiles. Any discrepancy or omission at this stage could directly impact eligibility during recruitment processing.
Updating Qualifications and Uploading Certificates
TGPSC has also directed candidates to update any additional qualifications acquired after initial registration. Along with data verification, applicants must upload all required certificates supporting their claims. This includes proof of educational qualifications, category certificates where applicable, and other mandatory documents.
A latest passport-size photograph must also be uploaded as part of the OTR update process. The commission has emphasised that incomplete documentation will be treated as non-compliance with OTR requirements.
Deadline Extended Till February 25, 2026
In view of the importance of OTR compliance, TGPSC has extended the deadline for updating and validating OTR details till 25 February 2026. Candidates are required to complete the process within the stipulated timeframe through the official commission website.
The extension is intended to provide sufficient time for candidates to review and correct their records ahead of upcoming notifications. However, the commission has made it clear that no further consideration will be given beyond the announced deadline.
Eligibility Linked Strictly to OTR Compliance
TGPSC has cautioned that only candidates who complete OTR updation and validation within the prescribed period will be allowed to apply for future recruitment notifications. Failure to do so will automatically disqualify candidates from participating in the recruitment process, regardless of qualifications or experience.
Candidates are advised to regularly check official communications issued by the commission and ensure timely compliance with all procedural requirements.
