Armed assailants flee with cash
According to details available, armed assailants opened fire at the ATM and escaped with ₹6 lakh in cash. The robbery was carried out swiftly, with the attackers fleeing the spot immediately after the incident. The sequence of events points to a targeted operation executed within a short span of time.
Cash depositor injured in attack
Rashid, who had come to the ATM to deposit cash, was reportedly followed by the attackers. During the robbery, he was shot in the leg. He was shifted to a hospital for treatment soon after the incident. No official update has been issued so far on his condition beyond his hospitalisation.
