Highest temperatures were recorded in several districts
Among the districts, the highest temperature of 41.8°C was recorded in Karakagudem of the Bhadradri Kothagudem district. Jagityal and Mancherial reported 41.6°C each.
Kumuram Bheem Asifabad and Peddapalli recorded 41.5°C, while Mulugu and Nizamabad registered 41.4°C. Nalgonda recorded a maximum temperature of 41.3°C.
Other districts also report high temperatures
The Meteorological Centre stated that the remaining districts recorded temperatures below 40°C. However, the overall trend indicates a consistent rise in heat levels across Telangana.
The conditions have resulted in widespread heat stress, particularly during daytime hours.
Orange alert issued for affected regions
