Telangana CM Directs T-Hub to Remain Exclusive Startup and Innovation Centre
Clarification on Use of T-Hub Space
Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy has directed officials to ensure that T-Hub continues to function strictly as a startup and innovation centre, rejecting any proposal to accommodate government offices within the facility. The clarification follows reports suggesting that certain government departments operating from rented premises may be shifted to T-Hub.
The Chief Minister intervened to put the matter to rest, stating that T-Hub was established with a specific purpose and should not be repurposed for administrative use.
Instructions Issued From Abroad
Currently on an official visit to the United States, Revanth Reddy spoke to Chief Secretary Ramakrishna Rao over the phone and conveyed clear instructions on the issue. He advised that government offices functioning out of rented buildings should instead be relocated to other available government-owned premises.
The Chief Minister stressed that T-Hub should not be considered an option for shifting departments under any circumstances.

Revanth Reddy underlined that T-Hub was conceived and developed as a dedicated incubation and innovation catalyst for startups. He reiterated that the facility must retain its identity as a space designed exclusively to support entrepreneurs, innovators, and emerging enterprises.
He instructed the Chief Secretary to ensure that no parallel administrative usage is permitted within T-Hub and to immediately drop any such proposals if they are under consideration.
Administrative Direction to Officials
The Chief Minister also asked senior officials to clearly communicate the government’s position to all departments. Any plans or discussions related to moving offices into T-Hub should be discontinued, he said.
T-Hub, which has played a central role in Telangana’s startup ecosystem, was created to provide infrastructure, mentoring, and networking support to startups. The government has maintained that protecting its core purpose is essential for sustaining innovation-driven growth in the state.
