Telangana BIE Allows Late Entry for Intermediate Exams
The Telangana Intermediate Exams will begin across the state from tomorrow, with the Telangana State Board of Intermediate Education (TG BIE) issuing key instructions for students appearing in the annual examinations.
In a significant relief, the board has clarified that students will be allowed to enter examination centers even if their downloaded hall tickets do not carry the principal’s signature. Officials have directed center superintendents to permit candidates with online hall tickets, removing the mandatory requirement of a college principal’s signature this year.
Hall Ticket Relaxation for Telangana Intermediate Exams
The Telangana Intermediate Exams are conducted for both first-year and second-year students across government and private junior colleges. Traditionally, hall tickets required authentication by college authorities before entry into exam halls.
However, TG BIE stated that students who have downloaded their hall tickets online will not be denied entry for lack of signature. The decision aims to avoid last-minute confusion and ensure that no candidate misses the examination due to procedural delays.
Students have been advised to carefully verify details printed on their hall tickets and carry a valid identification document if required.
Entry Time and Reporting Instructions
The board also announced that students arriving up to five minutes late will be permitted to enter the examination hall. Officials confirmed that candidates arriving by 09:05 am will still be allowed to take the exam.
Despite this relaxation, authorities have strongly advised students to reach their respective centers at least 30 minutes before the scheduled start time to avoid inconvenience.
The Telangana Intermediate Exams are being conducted under strict supervision across the state, and necessary arrangements have been made to ensure smooth conduct.
