The Manikonda YouTuber suicide case has shocked residents after a 21-year-old content creator allegedly died by suicide at her home in Chitrapuri Colony. The incident occurred late Monday night when no family members were present.
According to police, Komali Bonu, a resident of Manikonda, was pursuing a B.Sc. at Malla Reddy University. Alongside her studies, she created online videos and had gained recognition as a YouTuber.
Background of the Relationship
Investigators said she had been in a relationship with fellow YouTuber and software employee Akhil Reddy. The two reportedly knew each other for three years before separating a year ago due to personal differences.
However, police sources stated that she was unable to move on after the breakup. Earlier, she had allegedly attempted suicide but was rescued by her family members.

Two days before the incident, she reportedly contacted Akhil Reddy again. An argument followed between them over the phone. According to preliminary findings, this exchange deeply affected her.
Later that night, she allegedly hanged herself from a ceiling fan using a saree. Family members found her after returning home and alerted authorities.
In the Manikonda YouTuber suicide case, the Raidurgam Police have registered a case and initiated an investigation. Officials said they are examining call records and statements from family members to determine the exact sequence of events.
