There has been a lot of excitement since yesterday; rumors that BRS chairman KCR will be attending the assembly were all over the media. Meanwhile, trolls and memes proliferated on social media. While some made movies defending KCR, others made videos criticizing him and asserting that he was only attending the assembly because of Revanth. When KCR appeared at the assembly, everyone was excited to see what he would do and how he would go forward. But in the end, it was all in vain. After arriving at the assembly, KCR shook hands with Revanth when he passed by, signed the assembly register, and departed. Everyone was unhappy by the way the excitement preceding KCR’s entrance at the assembly ended today.
Hearts and minds have shifted in Telangana politics. KCR is not even present at the assembly after entering the opposition. He is not engaged in combat with the government. In a recent press conference, he declared that after two years of waiting, he would finally pursue the Congress government with unrelenting vigor and harsh criticism. In this situation, KCR shocked everyone by making yet another unexpected choice.
On Monday, the Telangana Assembly’s winter session is scheduled to start. In this regard, KCR, the leader of the opposition and president of BRS, came at the Assembly. The party MLAs greeted him and led him into the Assembly hall. It is believed that during these Assembly sessions, the main opposition party, BRS, intends to strategically corner the ruling Congress party. According to reports, the party has prepared its weapons for this use.
It is reported that there is a possibility of a heated discussion on the promises made by the Congress party during the assembly elections, as well as on irrigation issues and project construction. A decision will be made in today’s Business Advisory Committee (BAC) meeting regarding the duration of these winter sessions. On the other hand, leaders of the ruling Congress party will also attend today’s meetings to effectively counter the criticisms of the opposition parties. Speaker Gaddam Prasad offered condolences in the assembly to the deceased MLAs Ramreddy Damodar Reddy and Konda Lakshman Reddy. KCR left the assembly shortly after the Speaker introduced the condolence motion. Before that, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy shook hands with KCR, who had come to the assembly. The Chief Minister inquired about his health. Several ministers and MLAs also met KCR.
