JNTUH Issues TG PGECET Notification With Revised Late Fee Option
Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University Hyderabad (JNTUH) has released the notification for TG PGECET, the entrance examination for admissions into ME, MTech and MPharmacy courses. The announcement was issued on Monday, outlining the application process and revised late fee provisions for candidates.
The examination is conducted for postgraduate engineering and pharmacy admissions, with applicants required to complete the registration within the specified schedule.
Late Fee Increased to ₹10,000
According to the notification, candidates will be allowed to submit applications with a late fee of ₹10,000. Last year, the maximum late fee permitted for late submission was ₹5,000, indicating a revision in the penalty for delayed applications this year.
The updated provision is intended to give candidates additional time while maintaining the examination schedule.
Application Window Until Two Days Before Exam
PGECET Convener Venkateshwar Rao stated that candidates can submit applications up to two days before the examination by paying the prescribed late fee. The flexibility is aimed at accommodating applicants who may miss earlier deadlines.
