Indian Railways Launches RailOne App From March 1
Indian Railways Announces Unified Mobile Platform for Ticketing
Indian Railways will introduce a new mobile application, RailOne, from March 1, 2026, replacing the existing UTS mobile app. The move is aimed at bringing multiple railway services under a single digital platform to simplify ticket booking and travel management for passengers.
The transition marks a shift toward integrated digital services, with the RailOne app expected to handle a wide range of passenger requirements through one interface.
All Ticketing Services on a Single Platform
RailOne will support both reserved and unreserved ticket bookings, enabling passengers to access ticketing options without switching between different systems. The application will also provide live train status updates, helping travellers monitor schedules and plan journeys more effectively.
Officials indicated that the app is designed to streamline travel planning by combining key railway services into one unified system.
Focus on Digital Payments and Travel Planning
The new platform will include digital payment support, allowing users to complete transactions securely through mobile devices. Alongside ticketing, RailOne will assist passengers with journey planning features, improving convenience and accessibility for regular and long-distance travellers.
The replacement of the UTS mobile app is part of Indian Railways’ broader digital push to enhance passenger services and provide a seamless booking experience across the network.
Transition from UTS App Begins March 1
From March 1, 2026, the UTS mobile app will be discontinued as RailOne becomes the primary platform for ticketing and related services. Authorities expect the unified system to improve efficiency and provide a smoother, more consistent user experience for passengers across the country.
