Family Background and Case Registration
Vijaya was employed with a private firm near Hi-Tec City. Both her children were intermediate students. Her husband, Surender Reddy, who works with a Dubai-based company, returned to Hyderabad after being informed of the incident.
Police said there were no indications of financial distress within the family. A case has been registered under Section 194 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNSS) relating to a suspicious death. Statements from family members are being recorded.
