Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy laid the foundation stone for the Young India Integrated Residential School being constructed at a cost of ₹200 crore in Miryalaguda. The foundation ceremony was held during the ‘Prajapalana – Pragati Bata’ programme conducted at Gudur village in the Miryalaguda mandal of Nalgonda district.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister outlined the government’s focus on strengthening education infrastructure through integrated residential institutions. He said the school aims to provide quality educational facilities with modern infrastructure for students in the region.
Financial Assistance Presented to Women’s Federation
During the program, the Chief Minister handed over a cheque of ₹1,138 crore to the Nalgonda district Women’s Federation. The assistance is part of the state’s broader support initiatives aimed at strengthening women-led groups and promoting financial empowerment through structured programs.
Officials present at the event stated that the allocation forms part of ongoing welfare measures being implemented across districts. The support is intended to enhance institutional capacity and expand activities under women’s collective initiatives.
Government Highlights Welfare Measures for Farmers
In his address, the Chief Minister reviewed key welfare schemes currently being implemented in the state. He referred to the farmer loan waiver program, Rythu Bharosa support, distribution of fine rice, bonus payments, and the free electricity scheme for farmers.
He stated that the government has been giving high priority to farmer welfare through these initiatives. The measures, he noted, are being implemented across the state with the aim of strengthening agricultural support systems and ensuring continuity of benefits to eligible farmers.
Public Representatives Attend Prajapalana Programme
The ‘Prajapalana – Pragati Bata’ program witnessed the participation of several ministers and public representatives from the united district. Ministers Uttam Kumar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy, and Adluri Laxman Kumar were present at the event along with local representatives.
The programme focused on reviewing development initiatives, welfare implementation, and ongoing public outreach efforts. Officials indicated that similar programs are being conducted across regions to monitor progress and assess the implementation of government schemes at the ground level.
The foundation stone laying for the residential school and the financial support extended during the programme form part of the state’s broader administrative and development agenda in the district.
