Chittoor: Five Killed After Car Crashes Into Lorry on Palamaneru Highway
A fatal road accident on the Palamaneru highway in Chittoor district claimed five lives after a car rammed into a stationary lorry from behind. The accident occurred while the occupants of the car were travelling towards Tirumala for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara.
Police reached the spot soon after the incident and began initial procedures at the accident site. The collision resulted in severe damage to the car and left all occupants dead.

Preliminary information indicates that the car hit the rear side of a lorry that had been halted on the highway. The impact of the crash was strong, leading to immediate fatalities inside the vehicle.
Authorities confirmed that five people died in the accident. Among the deceased were two men and three women who were travelling together in the car.

Victims Identified as Bengaluru Residents
Police later identified the victims as residents of Rajaji Nagar in Bengaluru, Karnataka. The group was reportedly travelling to Tirumala to have darshan of Lord Venkateswara when the accident occurred.
