Bengaluru Police Register Case After Woman Dies Following Domestic Dispute
A domestic dispute in Bengaluru ended in tragedy after a 27-year-old woman died following an incident at her residence. Police have registered a case and begun examining the circumstances that led to the death.
The woman, identified as Kavya, had been married to Rangaswamy for the past five years. The couple lived in Bengaluru and had a four-year-old child.
Dispute Over Food Sparks Argument
According to information available, the dispute between the couple began over a household matter involving food preparation. Kavya had reportedly prepared sambar three days earlier and kept it in the refrigerator, reheating it for meals over the following days.
This reportedly led to an argument between the husband and wife. The disagreement soon escalated into a serious quarrel inside the house.
Family members said the exchange left Kavya deeply upset. The argument over the issue of reheating the same sambar repeatedly reportedly intensified tensions between the couple.
Woman Consumes Pesticide
Following the argument, Kavya allegedly went into the bathroom and consumed pesticide that had been kept at home for agricultural purposes.
Family members quickly noticed the situation and rushed to assist her. She was immediately shifted to a nearby hospital for emergency medical treatment.
Doctors admitted her and began treatment soon after her arrival. However, her condition remained critical during the course of treatment.
Death During Treatment
Despite medical efforts, Kavya died while undergoing treatment at the hospital. The incident has left the family and local residents in shock.
Authorities confirmed that the couple’s four-year-old child survives the deceased.
Police Begin Investigation
Bengaluru police have registered a case in connection with the incident and initiated an investigation. Officials are examining the events that led to the dispute and the subsequent death.
