Andhra Pradesh Government Issues Orders Transferring Multiple IAS Officers
Administrative reshuffle announced in Amaravati
The Andhra Pradesh government has issued orders transferring several IAS officers across the state. The orders were released on Sunday as part of a broader administrative reshuffle.
Kakinada Collector Shanmohan has been transferred and appointed as CEO of APEDB. The decision is part of changes made in key administrative positions at both district and departmental levels.
Collectors reassigned and new postings issued
ASR district Collector Dinesh Kumar has been posted as Managing Director of APIIC. The government has also reassigned multiple officers to district collector roles.
Saikant Varma has been appointed as the Guntur district Collector. Abhishikt Kishore will serve as Visakhapatnam district Collector, while Harendra Prasad has been posted as Kakinada district Collector.
T. Nishanthi has been appointed as the Collector of Alluri Sitarama Raju district. Tamimin Ansariya has been named Director of School Education as per the latest orders.
Interim arrangement in Konaseema district
The government order also addressed the situation in Konaseema district following the transfer of its Collector. Until further orders are issued, the Joint Collector of the district will hold full additional charge as Collector.
This temporary arrangement is intended to ensure continuity in administration without disruption.
Routine governance exercise
The transfers are part of routine administrative adjustments carried out by the state government. Such changes are aimed at maintaining administrative efficiency and ensuring smooth functioning across districts and departments.
The latest orders reflect a reallocation of responsibilities among senior IAS officers in the state.
