Shravan Kumar Seeks Reopening of Chandrababu Cases
Jai Bhimrao Bharat Party Leader Jada Shravan Kumar Demands Reopening of Chandrababu Cases
Lawyer Makes Allegations Against Chief Minister
Jai Bhimrao Bharat Party president and advocate Jada Shravan Kumar on Thursday alleged that cases registered against Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu were being dismissed after he assumed office.
Addressing the media in Vijayawada, Shravan Kumar claimed that legal proceedings against the Chief Minister were being closed following his return to power in the state. He said he would continue his legal fight concerning those cases.
Call to Reopen All Pending Cases
Shravan Kumar stated that he was pursuing legal action to ensure that all cases against Chandrababu Naidu are reopened. He asserted that he would continue the effort until each case is brought back for investigation.
He further said that if he fails to get the cases reopened, he would give up his legal profession. According to him, accountability must be ensured in matters relating to the allegations raised earlier.
Allegations Over Government Property Decisions
During the press interaction, the lawyer also criticised the state government’s decisions regarding the sale of government properties. He alleged that public assets were being sold arbitrarily and termed the issue unjust.
Shravan Kumar claimed that cases were being filed against him for questioning these actions. He said his remarks were part of raising concerns about public interest issues.
Statement on Existing Cases
The Jai Bhimrao Bharat Party leader maintained that Chandrababu Naidu must face an inquiry in the four cases currently registered against him. He said legal efforts would continue to pursue the matter in the courts.
Shravan Kumar also declared that he would seek to reopen all the cases even if it takes until 2029. He described the effort as part of his continued campaign on the issue.
Political Allegations Raised
In his remarks, Shravan Kumar also made allegations against Jana Sena Party leader Pawan Kalyan. He claimed that Pawan Kalyan was a major partner in the corruption allegations he attributed to Chandrababu Naidu.
He further questioned why action had not been taken against certain alliance leaders accused of harassment of women.
The statements were made during a press briefing in Vijayawada, where the lawyer outlined his stance on the legal and political issues surrounding the cases.
