Harish Shankar Says Pawan Kalyan Declined Crores

Ustaad Bhagat Singh, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, features Pawan Kalyan in the title role. The film is directed by Harish Shankar, marking their collaboration once again after Gabbar Singh. Actress Sreeleela plays the female lead, while Raashi Khanna appears in a key role.

The “Aura Of Ustaad” song was introduced at the event in the presence of fans and the film’s cast and crew.

Harish Shankar’s Remarks on Pawan Kalyan

Addressing the gathering, Harish Shankar said Pawan Kalyan never prioritised money. He recalled that after the success of Gabbar Singh, several producers approached them for new projects, and corporate companies offered advertisement deals.

He stated that during 2012, even before the term “pan-India” became common, Pawan Kalyan was offered remuneration comparable to what Shah Rukh Khan charged for endorsements. However, the actor reportedly declined certain advertisements, stating that some products were not healthy and others were not suitable for children.

Harish Shankar said he personally witnessed Pawan Kalyan turning down offers worth crores.

Details on ‘Aura Of Ustaad’ Song

The director also spoke about the song composition. He said lyricist Chandrabose wrote every word of “Aura Of Ustaad” specifically keeping Pawan Kalyan in mind. According to him, the song was completed within eight hours.
