Former MLA Balka Suman has alleged that cases filed against him are part of a conspiracy aimed at sending him to jail and influencing control over the Kothapalli Municipality. He accused Minister Vivek of orchestrating the developments for political gain.

Balka Suman said stones were thrown at his group during the incident and claimed that his supporters were subjected to a lathi charge. He further alleged that despite his side being targeted, cases were later registered against him and his associates.
