Bhadradri Kothagudem SP Reviews Public Issues in Burgampahad

Lakshmipuram former Deputy Sarpanch Pothireddy Venkateswara Reddy met Bhadradri Kothagudem District Superintendent of Police Rohith Raj at the district police office. The meeting was held to discuss several local concerns and civic issues affecting residents of the Burgampahad mandal.

During the interaction, representations were submitted highlighting technical and public issues that require administrative attention across parts of the mandal.

Focus on Growing Commercial and Border Areas

Pothireddy Venkateswara Reddy urged the district police to pay special attention to Sarapaka and Lakshmipuram areas, known for their industrial activity and proximity to three state borders. He pointed out that rising business, transport movement, and increasing population require enhanced monitoring and preventive measures.

He also requested the installation of CCTV surveillance in sensitive locations across Sarapaka, Gandhinagar, and surrounding areas to prevent any untoward or anti-social incidents. Local residents, he said, are prepared to extend support as part of community responsibility for public safety and welfare.

SP Assures Field Visit and Necessary Measures

Responding to the representations, SP Rohith Raj stated that he would personally visit the region soon to review the situation. He assured that the district police would take firm steps aligned with public needs and stressed the importance of collective cooperation in maintaining law and order.

The discussion also included local agricultural initiatives. During the meeting, Pothireddy introduced Yaram Lakshmi Reddy, an organic farmer from Lakshmipuram, and briefed the SP on related matters concerning the area.

The meeting was attended by Burgampahad mandal Congress senior leader Inguva Ramesh, progressive farmers Yaram Lakshmi Reddy and Medipalli Uday, along with other local participants.
